Lunch time its a full house. The food is great and the service and staff is even better!
I am giving a SHOUT-OUT to this restaurant. They are open 6 days a week, they feature weekly specials, and have discount Happy Hour prices. During the holidays they partnered with the Salvation Army and created an Angel Tree. Children can write a Christmas wish on a paper ornament that is hung on the tree. Residents and customers can pick a random ornament and be a Secret Santa. The restaurant has many regular customers that come for the food and drinks. You may dine indoors, at an outdoor table or place an order to-go. Please support local family-owned businesses whenever you can. Don't forget to tell them that Rosemary sent ya!! Always full at lunch and dinner. But well worth the wait. Been coming here since the 1980s and the food has consistently stayed the same, tasty! They have homemade salsa. All of their food is made fresh to order so it comes out hot. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The decor is cute inside. They occasionally have a car show down in that area and the restaurant can get a bit packed. Worth checking the cars out while you wait to eat. It's located down in the Vons center of Via Verde. This is a location that is worthy of taco Tuesday every day of the week.
I love La Villa Kitchen and despite all of the negative Nellys on here their food and the staff are GREAT! The beans are incredible. However....ugh, I hate to say it but I feel it needs to be: the prices have gone WAY up! We came about 6 months ago and a one taco lunch special plate was about $8. Today it's $11.25! It would be ok if the portions match the crazy prices but they stayed the same. I get it, everything's gone up in price but a $3-$8 increase is incredible. The dinners are over $18! Anyway, if you know this place you know their food is great. Sadly, we won't be able to frequent it as often due to the prices and that we can get something less in price for just as good quality.
